So I made the mistake of going to my local archery shop to shoot the Chill R. Love the ZXT but the Chill R feels a lot better for me, so therefore going to put the ZXT up for sale. It has the 70lb limbs, set at 63lb draw weight right now and is a 28 draw length. Has an AXT 5 pin sight, Mathews T3 quiver, Axion stabilizer, Ripcord Red rest and wrist strap. Looking to get $650 to your door, I will ship it FedEx. Payment will be via Paypal.
What draw length are you needing chopayne? I can see if my buddy will hook me up and switch cams depending on what he has available.
27.5 But im debating on buying this as im trying to get some practice in for the big elk hunt. But my bow is out being tuned with Tony on AT and with his work schedule it's looking like a bit before I get it back. So this would be my backup bow, but I want to buy more glocks!
I feel you man, just picked up a Springfield XDS 45 today and waiting on the Chill R to arrive from my order. Sold my 1911 and working on selling the ZXT, covers the bow and the new 45! Man toys.....death on the wallet!
I currently have a bear encounter. Haven't wanted to spend the cash for a mathews but I have always wanted one. I too shot the chill at my local shop and it obviously blew my bear out of the water. How is the zxt compared to the chill x or r?
I had a ZXT and sold it to get a Chill R. Draw cycle was not as smooth as the Chill R and not quite as fast, but speed isn't everything. I'm really glad I sold it to buy the R.
I'd take the ZXT 10 to 1 over any of the Chill's. Got a black one coming in tomorrow. Had to get another one before they discontinue them next month.
That's the beauty of archery, what may not work or feel right for one person may be awesome for another!
I bought the first one sold in 2012 when they came out. The day the dealer's got them in I took one home. Luckily they send an extra with the demo bow's so I took one home. They told me I was the first 2013 Mathew's bow owner. Missed that bow ever since I sold it. I've had 14 Mathew's bow's and it's still my top pick. I will have it for blind hunting and tight spots and my z7 mag for speed. Can't wait to see the new bow's next month. Hope they do something awesome.
