I've killed with them. Fly well, left a pretty good blood trail.

Best made, sharpest broadheads out of the package I've ever used.

Solids are sharp but German Kinetics are the top and more expensive.

I think I still have a couple boxes of them. The are on my list of still use however I still see a short coming in them. They killed well for me though.
I take solids over GK every day though.

I'm a fan of Wasp, Slick Trick, Magnus and NAP broadheads. Slick Tricks are probably the most accurate fixed head out there. I've shot them with my field points and didn't need to move a thing but I might have got lucky. Others say they are very accurate too.

GK's are a sharper BH but because of their surgical steel and clean cut,
they don't leave as good of a blood trail as a less sharp, 4 blade head?

Solids are very nice too. If it weren't for the price I would have bought some a long time ago. Even though they're probably worth what you pay for them I don't want to spend $80 for broadheads when I can get some other broadhead almost as good for half the price or less.

The GK I had, the standards are 440c, the steel is just ok even though it's considered surgical. I much prefer the edge holding of S30v. And the solids are just as sharp GK with a better edge retention, so after a few weeks of bouncing rubbing around in quivers they hold up better.
However that's neither here nor there as they both are better the 98% of the junk out there.
My GK issues was blood trails, not that it was a mis function of the GK ..its just the nature of a two bladed head. You take the good with the bad. GK are great heads. Just my everyday favorite

That's your prerogative based on what's important to you. My prerogative is I don't like to settle for almost as good. To each their own.

Why do we always end up talking to each other? Good thing I like you, otherwise I would be worried people will associate us together.

My only hesitation with the solids was that they have a little whistle.

Both the GK's and the Solids flew with my field points.
The only other head that was close to that consistent was a Slick Trick.

Out to 40 yards or so I could make a lot of heads work. It's when I double it that I see a difference from the extra care and quality. Yes there is a cost differential however it's made up in value and Longevity.

The thing tricks always had going for them is the blade retention and low profile. I agree they consistent however I don't see them still being comparable if they where similar size and profiles as the other two.

Slicks are definitely not in the same league compared to Solids or GK's.

I always have a Slick in my quiver for the passing coyote or squirrel that is annoying me too much.

Only used a ceramic stick and had great success.
