I know things like smooth draw are subjective, but what it is the smoothest drawing and easiest holding bow you have shot recently? I had bicep tendon surgery on Monday on my left arm. I had torn my right bicep and had it repaired in 2013. These coupled with 2 back surgeries has me planning to drop down to 50# bows. But more than speed I want smooth drawing and easy to hold at full draw. I won't be able to shoot any bows for quite awhile yet so I am in the research phase. Right now I am leaning towards an Elite because going from memory the ones I shot were always smooth. Thanks.
I don't have a lot of money so when I looked for a new bow I shopped around a lot and shot a ton of bows in my price range. The one I absolutely love shooting because it is so smooth and easy to draw I ended up purchasing is the 2016 pse bow madness 32
You're probably going to get alot of opinions on this, because like you said, it is a subjective thing but for smooth draw it is very hard to beat Elite. I have an Energy 35 and in over 35yrs of shooting it's the smoothest bow I've ever drawn. Blessings..........Pastorjim

For me it is the mathews chill x. i went in to buy the elite, shot both and both were smooth but seemed the mathews was lighter in the front end which i prefer. but you could think the complete opposite haha
I recently switched to the Prime Rize. It is an awesome drawing bow and no hand shock when shooting. Also when you are at full draw it seems as though you almost have to try to push the string to go off. It is the easiest bow I have ever shot for holding at full draw.

If you have an obsession dealer around go shoot some of them. They're very smooth and fast. In my opinion the smoothest out there.
I concur with Elite...however, Obsession makes some smooth drawing bows overall but the Elite wins on ease of holding....I seriously have to push forward to let my 32 down, granted the price you pay for that is it will tug your shoulder something fierce letting down.
I have an Elite Hunter also with barely any shots through it,why, because I tore my rotator cuff right of my shoulder drawing on a bull moose 2 years ago in -28 weather after sitting for 6 hours. Then last year I bought new 50 lb limbs and started shooting again and the same thing happened all over again. I went to a crossbow this year and now need a knee replacement LMAO ,what next ? I'll let it as is all go for $ 700.00. That's arrows broadheads Bow complete in Realtree Snow camo as in my signature. PM me if interested.Oh yeah that's the 50 lb limbs with 65 lb limbs too! Rocky
I shot Elite for awhile and that valley is hard to beat. The 85% let off rock mods on the Mathews are not bad at all either. If you want a little more speed and the same valley definitely look at Obsession. In my opinion the Obsession has the same valley as the Elite but has faster speeds. The Def-Con 6/M6 has an IBO of 350+. Due to my shorter draw length that was the primary reason for me switching. I know faster is not better but options are limited it you want a certain momentum. Elite Energy 32 is what I decided on after a broken shoulder. (After 3 yrs with a crossbow). The Prime was up there with it and Mathews Nocam wasn't bad. As Tynimiller said though, which is absolutely true, you have to be careful when you let down.
