    We do all that and more. We stopped relying on archery shops years ago. DIY is the only way to go.

    I do no bow work myself, much like a racecar driver does not actually work on the car he drives. If you purchase quality equipment and adhere to a maintenance schedule and inspection there is seldom an emergency situation with repairs. Why refletch when you have another dozen arrows at the ready? I understand for some it is an extension of the hobby but nothing wrong with having a trained professional do the work either.
