Fourth Arrow Camera Arms, seems like they could be a contender with Muddy. they offer a carbon fiber version as well. cost to comparison seems to reasonable too.

does anyone use these or know someone who does?

I think I am willing to try it.

Saw them at ATA. Pretty sweet design, and man are they light!

Do you have to adjust the level with an allen wrench or something? Looks very nice!

Came across my Facebook page the other day. I like the looks of it. I'm not really satisfied with my Muddy arm. I may have to give this one a try. I like that the bases are reasonable enough you can buy several and leave them in your permanent setups. That sure would cut down on weight and setup time.

Same. I have trouble getting my muddy level on a few of my trees. My muddy also squeaks a little if I don't apply grease before every sit.

That pine ridge archery one is also about 75% less quality too. The arm listed above as well as most halfway decent arms require a fluid head to go on them which the camera mounts on. The Pine Ridge one will be super bouncy and not smooth at all.

Ok thanks for clarifying. The Pine ridge one just looked complete where the other one was missing something.

I just watched the video on their facebook page. I really like the looks of these arms, and they are super lightweight! Only issue I can see is the adjustment tool may be tricky in the dark...

Every quality tree arm will just have the threaded stud to allow you to install your own quality fluid head. There are lots of different fluid heads available so that design allows the most flexibility for the customer.
