My brother-in-law and I spent most of the day putting out a food plot today. We planted sugar beets and Buck Forage Oats. It was a lot of hard work and it sure was hot but we are both very hopeful with this setup. We also hung a stand over it and tomorrow we will be setting up a ground blind on a trail that leads into it. The best part of the day was after almost three weeks with no rain, it started pouring rain right after we had finished and loaded everything up. Hoping for good results.

    Blessings..........Pastorjim

Sweet, hope you can put something down in it! We got some good rain here last night. The whole country just needs as much as it can get right now.

Good luck man I just put in Buck Forage oats along with chickory and clover. Came up in about 5 days. Looking good now. The dang turkeys love them oats before they sprout. I lost a bunch to them things. Came in real spotty in a few places.

I'm jealous man I look foward to the day I can plant my own food plot. I think that'll be a long time from now but who know life is full of up and downs and even if I can't I've learned how to make public land deer dinner.
