I saw this video on BH.com Youtube page. I might pick one of these up, it looks like it could come in handy. It would be really nice to have since i hunt out of a climber a lot and if i dropped something now i would have to climb all the way back down but with this i wouldnt have that problem. What do you guys think?
Haha. I havent had anything important that i needed right away get dropped but its going to happen eventually and i rather be prepared for that then taking the whole climber back down.
That's a neat looking tool. It would make it safer when you drop something important. Might have to look into it this fall.
I have seen other products that claim to do the same thing but this one by far looks to be the best built and designed. Might have to look into one this fall.
Neat concept, I think it would be entertaining to watch somebody try to use this 20+ feet up in the air. Haha
hmm, will it also pick up a bottle of beer.. Really though, can't count all the times in stand that I coulda used that
I'd like to actually see that used at 20 feet up and see how easy it is then. It would be a lot nicer rather than having to climb all the way down. But is it as easy as she makes it look at 20+ feet up?
I once dropped my outer layer jacket when I got to the top in my climber. My solution? Tie my string I use for my bow onto an arrow with a Muzzy 3 blade on it and spend the first 20 minutes of my hunt trying to hook it with the back part of the blades. It worked
I actually have a very similar product to this, but it is a plastic hook (this product looks more stable, but then again i have picked up my bow with my plastic one). I have used it 10+ times and i cannot tell you how easy they really are at 25 feet. I have picked up gloves, release, and even my bow(yes, my entire bow that i forgot to attach to my rope while on the ground) with the hook i have. The only time i have found that makes it hard is if you hunt with a lot of brush directly underneath you then getting the product to the ground is somewhat challenging, but 95/100 these type hooks are extremely easy to use.
I have one of those fancy Bass Pro shop hooks on my hat bill (good luck charm) I have tree stand fished before and it works good unless I dropped my hat
I will be getting one of these. I hate having to climb back down for anything. I seem to drop stuff when I am late getting to my stand and rushing to get setup. Thanks for posting!
