So I picked up my Halon and it doesnt fit in my old case.. Whats a good bow case thats gonna keep my bow protected? (keep in mind I'm a 16 year old who just dropped $1650 on a new bow I don't have hundreds of dollars for a case.) Thanks in advance!!

SKB are the best but they are pricey.

I bought a Elevation Mathews edition case. Its a semi rigid case that is very high quality and looks great also. Believe it was about $120

I also have an SKB. I know you just dropped 1650 on a new bow, protect your investment. I think a good case is as important as some of the other accessories. You can get an SKB for $125 if you shop around. I paid $150 for mine

The only thing I don't like about my SKB is there is no accessory compartment. And it's a tight squeeze with my quiver on my bow

I use a Plano that I've had for several years. Granted, it doubles as a life raft but it is a very good case.

The lakewood will hold your bow, with quiver attached, with room for tons of accessories. Can't go wrong.

I have a Plano Parallel case (rectangle one). It does what I need it to. I will probably eventually buy an SKB, but nowhere in the near future.

Honestly, unless you're flying with your bow, the SKB is overkill for going back and forth to a shop, the shooting range or the woods.

I bought a Plano SW case because I needed one quick and it was on sale but my next case will be a SKB double bow case. I plan on doing some traveling to hunt and I want the best protection against the airport baggage handlers. I do agree that there is no need for an expensive case but you do want something to protect your $1600 investment, you should also buy a decent bow sling for added protection and they are not expensive.

I'll give another vote for Elevation cases. They're a great blend of soft and hard cases that look nice and provide plenty of protection. Lots of storage pockets as well.

I have this case that I will sell you for $65. I bought it last year and used it once.

Agreed, 150-200 but much much better made than the plano plastic jobs...I have a plano plastic job, it works, but after dropping tons of money on 2 bows fully equipped, money is tight and I bought the plano..lol
