Nah, I let em walk. Give her a chance to teach them a little survival and whack one of them the next year.
I shot a big doe last year that had twins with her. It was the fisrt week of November and the were good size. I think I would have not shot if it wasn't November. set from my electronic carrier pigeon
I shot big mature doe last year on the last evening of my Missouri hunt. then her twins came out from behind some thick stuff never saw them prior to shooting, probably wouldnt have shot if I had known, put a pit in my stomach for sure. so I would say no but that would make me a hypocrite!
Christine is a savage. xD Admittedly, I've killed a yearling or two, but never anything with spots on it or a doe with fawns.
This doe only had one fawn with her. I hunt on earn-a-buck property. Does... fawns... they all get an arrow early on. Spotted fawns are extrodinarily rare during season and I've only seen one out there during season and it was still spotted into Dec. (but I did let it walk).
