I have the 4 blade 100gr Muzzy's. Just wondering what everyone thinks is the most aerodynamic/best fixed blade

I shot Muzzy's for a while and I never had any trouble with good arrow flight. I've also shot G5 Montecs and Slick Tricks. They all flew equally well as most any head should do from a properly tuned bow. I would probably still be shooting the Montecs if I could have gotten them as sharp as I would have liked, but I couldn't. The Slick Tricks were by far the sharpest head out of the package I have ever used.

    Blessings.........Pastorjim

I've been shooting Wac'ems for the past few years with zero complaints. G5 Montec's are a close second.

Slick Tricks or G5s have my vote.

Slick trick killed two deer with them both ran less than 50 yards and flew great.

I have no problem with the muzzy 3 blade 100 grain. they fly awesome. but I only practice with them. I don't ever shoot field points. so I can't compare broadheads to field points for you. once I shot the muzzy 4 blade 100 grain and they flew like crap. I would never shoot a 4 blade again ever!

I have to agree with tc racing on the 4 blade Muzzys...I couldn't get them to fly well at all. I'm still using the G5 Montecs, and have been really happy with them. I hear a lot of you guys talk about Slick Tricks, though and you have piqued my curiosity. Do they fly as well as the Montec? I like Montecs, just wish they were sharper.

If you want a montes head that you can get way sharper, buy VPA.... they are night and day better.

Your hard pressed to beat flight from short compact slick trick style heads, generally they aren't especially prone to planing and are tolerant of some tuning issues.

At longer distances the most accurate fixed blade heads I have used have been solids in 100 grain with .5 inch bleeders. They group noticeably better for me out to 80-85 yards several other heads to have used. Under 40 yards I would be hard pressed to tell a difference in groups, however at longer ranges they one up less.

have no experience with 4 blades muzzies but with 3 blade I put them third after slick tricks standard and G5 CS montec. But would be happy to use them if I couldn't get the other two.

Montecs group very marginally better than Slick Trick Mags for me out to 80. And G5 Strikers are right there between those 2.
Sorry, but Muzzy 4 blades are noticeably less accurate. Out to 40 it's not a big difference, but after that they really speread out.

I use NAP Hellrazors and have been more than satisfied with them, they're the toughest BH I've ever used. The Montecs I used were brittle as heck, pot metal. I've shot the Hellrazors through shoulder bone and they were fine.

I've only shot Muzzy and Slick Tricks and I haven't had any issues with the flight on either. I prefer the Slick Tricks, I've had some great success with them.

I shoot the 2 blade Magnus Stingers and Buzzcuts. They fly awesome and I appreciate their simplicity.

I've killed more game with Muzzy 4-blade 100 grain than any other head (elk, moose, deer, antelope, hogs). Two of my buddies have never used any other broad head than the Muzzy 3-blade 100 grain in the last 10 years and killed a lot of big game. My son used to shoot Slick Tricks with great results.
