Alright, I feel like I am having a Sword in the Stone moment here... I have 3 carbon arrows that are stuck in my new Rinehart block.... Has anyone had this problem??? How do you get them out? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Try googleing arrow puller, there are a couple of different types most just add grip to the arrow shaft which is usually the limiting factor
KY Jelly? don't you have some sitting on the coffee table? On a serious note, the make these little rubber arrow gripper thingys you can get for cheap like the guy above mentioned.
Definitely use a silicone base lube on your arrows. Then get an arrow puller to help. Are you using a small diameter shaft?
I have heard that a piece of inner tube works as a arrow puller. And once you get them out try rubbing them down with a piece of bar soap to help them come out easier.
Arrow gripper/puller/jar opener/rubber glove. Grab arrow as close to target face as you can. Twist and pull hard. Apply Arrow Lube to all shafts. I have used silicone spray/Armor All/bar soap and more. I bought a Scorpion Venom Arrow Lube 6-7 years ago. One tube lasts a long time. Worth the few bucks. It has an easy applicator too. Also, shafts with FP are harder to get out than BH tipped.
Thanks guys, I do have smaller diameter arrows. I bright the target in to warm it up and then used some white lithium grease to loosen them up... I'll try the bar soap next Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I've never had an issue pulling arrows from my rinehart block, I think they're the easiest pulling target I've ever shot at. I shoot deep six fmj arrows, that being said, a rubber jar opener does help get a grip on the arrow when your hands are sweaty Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
I forgot about the cold. They are a bugger to get out in cold temps. Get it warm and they should come out. Then some arrow lube...no issues.
