Which part of Australia do you usually go for hunting? I used to be in Blow Clear West State forestand Clandulla State forest only. Stayed for 2 days and Killed few bucks with my guy and girl friends thanks to our amazing bows. Still on the learning stage though I'm doing this 3-4 times a year.

Not trying to be funny, but I didn't know you had deer in Australia? White tail or a different sub species?

There are 6 species as an Ozzie friend mentioned to me. I had to Google the list because I couldn't remember them: Fallow, Red, Hog, Sambar, Chital, and Rusa.

There are also a lot of non-indiginous/introduced/invasive animals that can be hunted in Oz.

The one that was the biggest apprise for me was camels. Apparently there are something like 1 million camels there which are a problem.

Do you have lots of public hunting access? I have wanted to go after an Asiatic buffalo for a while now...I read an article describing them as the poor mans Cape buffalo. I figured out the price of a hunt a few years back, and then started looking for a poor mans Asiatic....lol.
