    It is a great story and he has a hell of a collection. There are a few hunters here that get it done every year on mature bucks, would be nice to see a story about one of them we have a connection too.

    That last buck makes 3 P&Y for me, but I'm going to need 6 more to catch up to that guy! He has one hell of a wall! I'm going to start emailing some mags soon to see if there is any interest in a story of my buck. Just thought it would be neat to have a story in a magazine to go with the deer!

    I just reread your story bc I couldn't remember, did you have any history with this deer before this past year?

    No, new property I just picked up about a month before the season. There is a lot more to the story then what I posted. From the time I first saw him til I shot him was only 2 1/2 months. The year before I got word from a guy who said he saw the biggest buck of his life only about a mile from that farm. That's the only intel I had up until I saw him a couple weeks before the season started.

    Well get that magazine article because I'd like to hear that wholed story. Did you decide on a pedestal mount?

    Yes definitely going with a pedestal mount. But haven't pick style, right now its either the 6900 or 8900.

    On a side note, I think Buckeye could give the guy in this article a run for his money! I have read some of the storys of his hunts on another fourm, He has a impressive wall of bucks!
