    Looking to go on a public land hunt in Kentucky and info would greatly appreciate looking to go week of nov 5

    I think that the proposed quota hunt dates for 2017-2018 might fall on that weekend so might keep that in mind.

    Yes. Most wma's have a gun hunt the first weekend of November every year. You can count on a lot of foot traffic the week prior with people scouting and hanging stands.

    Look into coal company land too. I've hunted hogs down there on coal company land. There are some pretty wild places down there.

    I live in northern Kentucky, there is a fair amount of public land (wma's) around the area. There have been some nice deer taken around here.
