Give me a place to stand and with a lever I will move the whole world. - Archimedes This might be the most genius thing I've ever seen.
I just took off my tailgate and used it as a ramp to drag the deer up. Work if you have a ****ty truck! Will have to do something different next year tho. I've heard of guys keeping an small sheet of plywood on the truck for a ramp. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
My brother made a lift that hooks into the receiver on his truck from a garage door opener so he even had the remote. Granted the lift was created to hoist a beer bong, but the concept is the same.
Pretty cool, I use 2-2x8's with a 1x4 screwed in to the back of the 2x8's to hold them together and keep them from sliding into the box of the truck gambrel hook and a come along the deer slides up the 2x8's into the box.
That looks really unsafe and you have to be able to drive your truck to the downed animal (good luck with that) And it looks like a lot of effort. We did this. Its easier, safer and makes more sense. http://forums.bowhunting.com/diy-archery-and-hunting-projects/bear-deer-loading-solo-hunters-80494/
