I prefer to be standing in stand, just makes most things easier for me. I know some guys that will not stand at all for fear of a deer seeing you shift weight from one foot to another. Im not able to stand the entire time so i will sit, but most of the time im standing.
I sit a majority of the time. I move way too much when I'm standing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I sit most of the time. I find myself moving too much if I stand. Most of my deer with a bow have been shot from a seated position.
Sit 95% of the time even while shooting. Only time I stand is to stretch and get rid of cramps or aches. 85% of my hubting is ladder stands, standing on those is a bit awkward.
I'm probably 70/30 sitting to standing. Prefer to shoot standing up but the last couple of deer I killed while sitting.
I try and stand as much as possible. Easier for me to look behind me and I feel more ready when I see a deer. I shoot standing.
Depends on the stand but like stated I move less sitting down...however when I am standing I am more so leaning against tree or a branch to control swaying or unnecessary movement as much as possible.
I sit. Lot less movement than when I'm standing. I will stand the last 30 minutes. Otherwise it is only if I need to stretch and get the kinks out. Or have to pee. Hi haven't spooked a deer by standing yet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
In my climber, I sit. In my ladder stand, I stand. I hunt in very thick woods and occasionally shifting weight isn't a deal breaker.
I have shot mine sitting, from treestand and ground blind. I prefer to sit because it always me to be more still, quieter, and more comfortable over time. However, when in the treestand, I try to stand during the golden hours. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Mostly seated, but try to make sure I'm standing at dawn and dusk. I've only shot one deer from a seated position, all the rest were standing.
