Here is the buck I shot this past Thursday November 10th. Its a long story but here is the short version. I have history with this deer, I have been watching him since summer in velvet. Got lots of great video! On opening day It almost happen. I had him at 45 yard or less for over 20 minutes. I will post the video of right before I got busted by a button buck! I lost him for a month, but finally picked him back up on a scrape. He would come by every 10 days or so. Finally in November he started to show more and I finally got a day light pic of a nose and a tip of main beam, which I'm sure it was him. So I made my move in.

For the guys that were not on the Live from the stand thread, they got to watch it unfold on there.. It happen fast that morning. Around 6:30 I heard a large crack of a antler with in 100 yards of me. So stood up and watched the thicket to my right. after 10 minutes nothing showed. Check phone because I just got a message. But instead of responding, I decided to scan the thicket again. Good thing because here he came! I didn't need to look thru the binos, I knew who It was. He was already 30 yards and move straight at me. So I made the decision to go for my bow that was behind me. By time I got my hand on the bow he was 20 yards. At 15 yards he knew something wasn't right, and started to cut my wind. At 10 yards he stepped into a creek and I spun around with bow. At 5 yards I pulled back, and my harness line flipped up into my bow strings! So I threw my elbow up real hard to flip it out and it worked! He saw it and looked right me as I released my arrow. Perfect Heart shot. He ran down the creek and jumped up the bank at 40 yards. I lost sight but heard the huge crash and knew he was done. Waited about a hour in stand for my buddy to get there, then we walked down the creek and there he was! No blood trailing needed!

He ended up green scoring 204 7/8 with a net score of 192 3/8. He was 200 lbs. field dressed. I still don't think it has sunk in yet, I'm still in disbelief! He haunted me for over 2 months!

By the way Holt did I mention I got a great new lease in Cecil county for next year? I've heard there's some giants on the property, the guys who had it this year are going to be PISSED!

Just messing with you. No reason to lease that farm now, you've already killed all the big deer off of it!

I could be wrong on score, I scored it my self. But this one will get scored after the drying period. Cant wait to see how close I am, wouldn't mind being wrong if I was low!
