What book are you guys taking for your all day sits?

I picked up the one on Lewis & Clark.

I don't remember much about them from middle school but have been wanting to delve[IMG] back into that story.

Should start a book club, Undaunted Courage is an excellent book and's it's just me but I would leave the book at home especially when the rut is building, I have had several bucks just bolt into range if my bow was in on a bow holder or I was doing anything other than hunting I would have never got a shot at those bucks.

I was pissed when my phone vibrated yesterday while I was hunting, I ignored it.

I'm all for a book if it keeps one in stand. Sometimes you just need something to distract you from getting down.

I don't read in the stand. Already struggle with keeping my phone in my pocket.

Having said that, Undaunted Courage is a great book.

    I don't read...at all.

On a serious note,I don't usually read on stand unless it's an all day sit then I will read a little around noon.

For me a book or going through trail Camera's photos on my phone keep me from moving and looking around to much. I hear what your saying but I think I turn my head to much looking for something coming in on all day sits.

Another great book I just finished is "The Arsenal of Democracy "

    About Ford/Detroit and WWII

Sometimes you just need one on stand. I've done it...shot a buck one year with The Cay half way shoved in my coat chest pocket as the buck came in fast.

With a buck down though now, I'm not gonna do any all day sits unless it is to film Pops....in that case I may bring a book but we'll see.

It depends on who's texting me,if it has nothing to do with hunting I will ignore it.

I loved the book about Teddy Roosevelt and his excursion in South America, can't remember the title just now. I shortened my season way up with the goal of making every sit an intense hunt. It is easier for me to say be ready I can't do all day sits physically impossible I sat for 3 hours yesterday, granted I forgot to bring the pad to sit on but I was sore last night from sitting, from my hips to the shoulders feels like somebody poured sand in my joints.
