I know these very warm temps haven't helped the hunting at all, so I'm praying this incoming cold front for next week will help throw the switch, and some seeking/chasing can get under way. I wanted to hunt the first week of Nov, but to do dark to dark sits for a week I'm forced to hunt next week, because of family commitments. So, it has to happen then.
Well fam comes first. you have your priorities straight. im toughing it out till Halloween. Chomping at the bit but right now my work load at work is crazy. Wont have a day off till Halloween. Will make it out for a few afternoon sits including tom night. Good Luck! I hope you put down a big one!
Good luck Early in, I think you will be fine this coming week. My buddy just put down a big buck this morning. His first sit of the year and only a hour into the hunt, It can happen any time! You know it reached in the 80's today.
Thanks guys, I'm thinking in 6 straight 12hr sits, something's gotta happen. lol I am encouraged with the progression into a New Moon. It just makes for a more stealthy entry. Dark is good.
Actually supposed to have a nice temp drop on Saturday here in southern GA, a high of 70 and low of 46 so I'll be hitting the WMA I've been planning to scout and find a good spot to get up in a tree.
