    That's a great video. To bad I took from Nov 3rd - 7th off this year from work to hunt all day everyday. In the video it said peak was Nov 8th - 20th. Boooooo!

    I booked the same dates. I've been hunting the same woods for 8yrs & based on what I've seen the last several years Nov. 3rd - 14th is always a good time to be in the woods.

    Took off Nov. 8-13th...We always seem to be a little early in the woods we go to so trying a week back this year! Good luck to everyone.

    Shot a 7 point that came in on a string after grunting, rattling, and a couple of doe bleats on 10-17. On 10-18, I have two spikes on camera (still pics) play fighting for 30 minutes. The mock scrape and almost excessive use of doe-n-heat might be artificially triggering this...

    correct. The rut happens the same time every year. The weather plays a role in keeping us out of the woods due to rain or very high winds but I dont take stock in the annual rut predictions.
