Kinda in the market for a new one! Been looking at the Yetis. Looking to keep coffee hot on those all day sits! Anyone got any other recommendations?
I was just looking into this. I've read some good things about thermos by Nissan. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Ozark trail knock off yeti- the only downside is the outside doesnt get warm so you cant use it as a hand warmer also!
If I have to give up coffee just to afford bowhunting gear, I am making some poor financial or career decisions. I use a cheapo "Thermos" brand thermos. I only take coffee to the tree a couple times a year so it works for me.
Line the outside of your thermos with Aeroflex pipe insulation. Keeps coffee hotter longer plus keeps it from making a loud metal sound if you bang it on something in the woods. My thermos lays on the ground when waterfowl hunting and it works very well.
I second the ozark trail knockoff of yeti. Under $10 at Walmart for 32 oz and it's just like the yetis. $7 and change for the 20 oz
Avery Outdoors NeoBottle. I've had mine for a decade and absolutely love it. Keeps my coffee hot all day and the neoprene exterior is awesomely quiet. I don't have to worry about it clanging around in my pack or if I have to set it down on my stand platform or something. Cabelas used to carry them back when I got it, but looks like they no longer do.
There was just a review on here comparing the Yeti to the Ozark Trail. As I recall they came out the same and the OT is about a third of the price. Blessings...,....Pastorjim
I second the Avery neo. everyone of my buddies thought it was an over priced gimmick....until after 8hrs sitting in the freezing cold hunting ducks they were drinking luke warm coffee at best and I would laugh while pouring mine with steam rolling out of my cup. Only thing wrong with mine was the neo cover for the cup came off but a little 2 part epoxy fixed that.
Presley outdoors has the avery neo bottle for 10.99 for 750ml and 12.99 for 1000ml think ill pick one up and see how i like it but still think ill grab a yeti! i love my yeti 20oz tumbler for an every day travel mug
That is insanely cheap! do yourself a favor and go with the 1000ml. On super cold days when I'm away from the blind / stove, I'll put tomato soup or chicken soup in it. You will not be disappointed
I have a Stanley and it's awesome, but I pour the coffee from the Stanley into a yeti so take your pick.
