Not a deer but my first bow harvest.

    Well last Sunday I was sitting the blind hunting deer. Around 930 9 turkeys came over the ridge behind me and started working the draw back up. Figured I couldn't pass it up to take the nice big tom. 18 1/2 lb 6" beard. 7/8 spurs.

    Awesome, I wish Arkansas had a fall turkey season. I see a few during deer season but cannot shoot one.

    I wish Arkansas had a fall turkey season as well. I see them almost every fall but in the Spring I am too busy to get out for them.

    That's a heck of a first. I have been trying to kill a turkey with a bow for a long time now. Can't seem to get the job done. Congrats on your harvest.
