Interesting buck that Alsheimer followed from spike til the buck died many years later. He was able to get so old b/c it was on a huge property with no hunting allowed.

Not sure what you mean. No one is saying anything about not respecting private property. The article simply illustrates just how big and old a spike can get if no one shoots him.

 

Awesome picture of a great buck! I saw this on D&DH a few years back.

 

I'm just saying in General to some landowners that don't allow hunters to go in their land to hunt, tracking a wounded deer and not getting permission.

 

This was I a farm in upstate new York. Really cool to see how old a buck could grow.

 

Very nice. Nice to know its within an hour or so of were I live and hunt too.

 

Good stuff. I love learning about deer and their potential.
