This is the second year that I will be hunting a deer I named Goliath. I had one encounter with him last year but he busted me at 33 yards. I guestimated him as a 150's class main frame 8 with a split G2 on his left side, some kickers off of his brows and two nubs that started to form drop tines. Fast forward to this year.... I don't really have the words to describe what he turned into or what he might score... I saved the best for last-- here's the video!- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V0_w-2yEJXA&feature=youtu.be
Awesome buck! I love that club! I'm chasing a big buck this year also, and makes me want to post pics. But I told my self I wouldn't til I shoot him! Good luck this year!
Wow, that's all I can say. Best of luck. Can't believe you have daytime anything of him. You would figure as big as he is that he would just move at night....
The crazy thing about this buck is that I got permission to hunt this undisclosed location just a few weeks prior to the season last year. I set out cameras and all that was showing up were does. I had a nice buck on another property so I decided to come out to this undisclosed location and shoot a doe early season. I get out there, doe comes in, and I shoot her. I go looking for her but can't find her. I pulled the camera card thinking maybe I got the shot on trail camera because I shot her when she was in front of it. The shot wasn't on camera but Goliath was! I ended up making him nocturnal when I went searching for that doe. It just goes to show that we think we have everything figured out and everything planned perfectly and then we find out that we don't. I just tell people now that I planned it all this way
