Didn't know you could "dry fire" a bow with an arrow in it. Funny video nonetheless!

Some Hamonic Dampers would have taken the shock right out of that. Would have turned that dry fire into a wet dream fire.

Looks to me like the arrow came off the string when he released it. Not sure if that was staged or not, but it's pretty wicked when that bow comes apart.

It is weird that the bow would completely come apart like that.

Doesn't really count as a dry fire but more along the line of a bow malfunction. I'm pretty sure that was staged it looked like the tag from the store was still on it.

Something just isn't right with that video. Also, that bow looks like it came from Walmart. haha

Sure it does, the arrow didn't move so it was fired without the arrow on the string. That's a dry fire. Now whether it was staged or not is another story.

Sure dampers might have helped but most likely he failed to rub some FOC on the arrow shaft before shooting. You have to do that with new arrows, ya know.

Thats just one of those new take down bows that takes itself down right after the shot.

really looked like he expected it to happen, almost a smile on his face, I think a steady stream of cuss words would follow that not a smile
