I just wanted to get everyone's general input on Strother bows. I shoot a Strother Infinity and love it but man it seems like I'm holding a cinder block from time to time.

I have had several different Strother bows and still have a RUSH XT and an SR71. Both shoot very well.

Strother is no longer an independent company but were acquired by Obsession a year or so ago and I haven't seen them put back on the market under that name/label.

The grip in particular fits my hand very well and is a very consistent shooting bow for me.

I knew obsession had taken them over but then I was told something about moxie archery maybe taking them over.. Who knows though lol but yes I love my Strother infinity because I can shoot consistently with it. And as you said the grip fits my hand very comfortably. Other than PSE I think Strother had the most comfortable grips

Yes Moxie has the old Strother designs but Kevin himself went to Obsession. With the KS cam and "K" model bows being Kevins "line" if you will within Obsessions line up.

Kevin Strother also did design work for Xpeditions bows...If you are looking for a new Strother you can have one in a Hybrid cam system in Xpedition or in a binary system with Obsession.
Obsession will be smoother, but barely and Xpedition will be faster and more efficient.

Kevin didn't design the latest lines of the Strother Bows. They had the Badger Can system and I believe they were designed by Mike Badgerow. I owned a wrath and loved it.

I currently shoot a Wrath SHO and love it.
    It fits me very well.
I don't find it heavy and weight wise it's right around where all the other manufacturers are.
I had an issue with mine and Moxie Archery took care of it, their communication could have been better as I got it back without any idea of what they found to be the issue or fix.
    Just showed up one day.
Called and got a partial report.
Kevin helped Dennis when he was hurt and the K line of Obsession is Kevin's.
I'd look for him to move on from Obsession in a year or two.
Obviously the dude knows his bows but man that guy just has a cloud that follows him.
I really liked the K line but I'm not buying anything attached to him as you don't know where it'll be in 2 years.
