My dad and I are wanting to plan a whitetail hunt in Ohio this season and we are looking online and found Tar Hallow. I've researched the area quite a bit and haven't really found much. I'm wondering if any of you guys have any experience with the state land? We will be doing a scouting trip here shortly and we're just trying to find a good place that there's not a lot of hunters and of course a nice deer would be a bonus! Basically I'm wondering if you have hunted Tar Hallow and if liked the area. Thanks!
Good luck. Ohio is a good state to hunt trophy bucks. 1 it's a shotgun state that tells for sure there's dandys there.
