Hey all. So I've decided to switch from a ladder stand to a hang-on. I will be hunting public land. Does anyone take their stands down after every hunt or risk leaving it for 2-4 days in between hunts.
Do yall actually prefer hang-on stands and sticks over that of a climber? Because, in my experience it is considerably more difficult to hang sticks and stands than it is to work a climber. However, the fact that stands and sticks can be used on more trees has kept a switch in the back of my mind...
I went with Lone Wolf and Sticks a few years ago for the versatility. I didn't want to be walking into areas and not finding trees suitable for a climber. I'm virtually unlimited with my set up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Definitely worth going with the Stand and Sticks. Spend the money and get a good one. Cry once. If you have a linesman belt with your harness they are fast and safe to climb and hang. I recommend, if you don't have one, the Hanger harness from HSS and Millennium Stands (M100U).
