Guys i made a mistake on a recent local purchase. I bout six rage chisel tips off a guy, new unused. Problem is they're 3 blade and i thought they were 2 blade.... i have shot two deer with the 2 blade and have had excellent results, the 3 blades though are unfamiliar to me. Can someone make me feel a little better and give any reviews on the 3 blade rage chisel tips ?
If you put them in the vitals they will do the job. You will be ok as long as you stay off the shoulder.
Actually those are my favorite rage that I've used. I prefer three blade over two, hole versus slit. But the chisel tips especially all phenomenal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Most of those haters should be looking at themselves not the equipment. But always good to stay positive.
I have shot the Rage 2 blade chisel tips in the past and they performed well. Like copperhead said in so many words, "Shot placement is ALWAYS key." No matter what a broadhead claims to do, I Always intend to shoot a deer in the vitals. Sometimes due to deer jumping the string, buck fever or whatever, you shots don't always go as planned. With that being said, you should be fine shooting them.
This^^ A few years ago, I had a buddy give me a pack of 3 blades (ER Doctor w/ no time to hunt that season). I was a Rage 2 blade fanatic at the time.. but after seeing what those 3 blades did, I have never gone back to the 2 blade. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
