Things will get better...... the mindless and often times painful off season threads will soon be replaced with something a bit more tolerable. Only 21 days for me Until then, keep the tree stand beer cold and the ugly chicks with daddy land close smdh... OR..... talk broad heads
Soon you will reading treads like this.... This morning I hit this buck. It looked perfect. I tracked it like 3/4 of a mile then I found some green smelly stuff, so I tracked it another hour jumping the deer like three times. I thought I should probably back out then. My question is should I go back after lunch or wait till the morning? The shot looked great.
This one is another favorite of mine, Could the rut already be happening? I saw a buck chasing a doe Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Oh no that's was I was afraid of . Also looking back I think I made a big mistake today. I took a piss at the base of my tree before I climbed into the stand , and the buck got really spooky before I shot!! Do you think he smelled my piss? Any tips on tracking a piss spooked buck!?
Depends on the level of piss spook we are talking about... like drinking beer in the stand piss or asparagus piss?? Not only is the piss spooked buck gonna run harder and farther but now he probably wont taste good either... if, of course you are able to salvage any meat after recovery... What are your temps supposed to be like tonight?
I was just hoping to have gotten in the reply about it being awide angled trail cam but NOooo...off season thread lockage. This has me worried instead. Think he'll smell the green stuff? Am I ok letting it sit overnight it's supposed to only be 82 tonight...
Well... my office misery for the day is over. I think I will go build my elk arrows and enjoy a few cold ones on the patio whilst seeing how they shoot out to 60. Later
Well screw it then, I guess my deer just wont count. This contest is stupid anyway! Not sure why I cant just crop the picture different to make it appear to be two photos?
Not sure on score. But very mature. At least 12 or 13 years old to have that much Spanish Moss hanging off his antlers. Choot'em!! Did you notice the black cougar at the far edge of the field carrying a baby sasquatch in its mouth?
