    Morning Gents,
I have a question I am wanting help on. I am looking at picking up a new, new to me at least, bow for this season. I've narrowed it down to about 5 different bows and am trying to knock another one off my list. I have found some Impulse 31's and Nitrum 30's that are in my price range and can't figure out which one o these bows I want to take off my list. I've shot both but not side by side to get a good comparison. I'm hoping someone on here has that can put in their input. I'm looking at 28"dl 60lb max bows if that matters. Thanks for all input given!!!

That's an easy choice for me, I would take a binary cam over a hybrid for a hunting bow every time.

Keep the hoyt on the list binary cams can be a pain to keep in tune and alot harder to tune the nitrum will shoot lights out and is so easy to tune and stays in tune I loved the nitrum series but you'd be happy with either both are great bows in my opinion I'm just more of a fan of hoyt.

Really a matter of personal preference. If you have a decent set of strings and cables once you have the rig tuned you should be ok either way. A draw board is helpful in tuning both but not required.

This is my opinion so take it for what it is worth. Both bows are solid performers. The variance is the valley. To me the draw cycles are not that much different but once you get the elite anchored it almost seems like it is locked up. Thats the no jumpy cam you see in the commercials. The hoyt however wants to go. Not PSE Omen gotta go but you will definitely feel the resistance when you move slowly forward. Some people don't care for the locked up feeling, mainly because it makes them nervous.

Its a hard decision. I would have to shoot both side by side to really make the call. All things being equal the price difference would play too. If you can get the Nitrum for like a 100 cheaper I would go that route.

I use a Nitrum 34 and I love it. Not quite the same as the 30 but close enough. I haven't had any issues with it to date

A 2 track cam is easy to stay in tune due to the equal loads on the cables.

A hybrid has uneven loads on the cables so they tend to need a little tweaking on occasion

My 31 tuned very easy, and as a bonus it made it rating no problem.

Good deal. Now let's see you drop a monster with it this year.
