Just incase you have an emergency out in the woods you don't have to cut up your shirt.

Hearing and eye protection are a definite must.

I get the sign that I am "number 1" quite frequently, does that count?

I have been deaf in my right ear since I was a kid and suffer some mild loss in my left. I wear ear muffs when shooting and ear plugs when riding my motorcycles. It's not worth the risk to me.

so true... I am 37 and have severe hearing impairment from shooting and loud music (concerts) when I was younger. I will need hearing aids sooner than later. I have trouble w/ conversations in crowded rooms, etc.
Sucks... take is seriously.. unlike me.

Completely agree! I'm only 26 and having hearing impairment as well, which is contributed to military service/deployment. Fortunately for me, the VA will cover any future expenses for hearing aid. But, hearing is definitely something (IMO) that a lot of people take for granted until it's too late.
