What arrow weight do you use and where do you get them? Is 200 gram arrows heavy enough with 70 pounds pushing it to get a quick kill?

Do you mean 200 grains? Arrows are measured in grains like gun powder in bullets. 200 grains too light from any bow. Out of a 70 lb bow that light of an arrow may explode and shatter. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yea I mean grains. Just tired and can't think completely strait. I've also been shooting 200 grain arrows out of the same set up and have been just fine. I can't find heavier arrows

Couldn't tell all information about them right now I just know that the arrow is 100 grain and my tips are 100 grain and I get them from Walmart.
You need a minimum of 5 grains per pound of draw weight...for a 70 lb. bow...350 grains minimum. My draw weight and arrow weight is in my signature.
If you are near a Scheels they sell a rebranded Gold Tip arrow. I bought half a dozen in the spine you would need (340) and had 100 grain brass inserts glued in instead of the 12 grain aluminum inserts that come with the arrows. The arrows are 28 inches long, and at 8.9 grains per inch the shaft alone is 250 grains. Then with the 100 grain insert and 100 grain field point I am at 450. I don't know how much the blazers weigh, but that adds a little bit more. Cabelas also sells a rebranded arrow, that I think is made by easton. Go to a pro shop if you have one nearby and they will set you up.
My setup is about 425 grains including 100 grain tip and I shoot 70lb. Agree with other posters 200 grains way too light and have never really heard of such a light setup.

I don't believe any arrow can weigh only 100 grains, I think you are mistaken. Maybe they say 100 on the arrow but that is not the weight. Heck 3 blazers are 18 grains alone
My bow is 70 pounds draw weight and 30 inch draw length and is a Bear Whitetail 2 which is an older bow. My arrows are carbon express Terminator. And it is 31 inches in length
Not sure where you got the 100 from but just a quick search I found the arrows you might be shooting. (What are the numbers on the side?) you're looking at around 370ish bare arrow at that length. So add in your FP, vanes, and nock. You're roughly 500 grains. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
