Well ive decided to name this buck High Hope for 2 reasons.

    1) he had high hopes in growing a great rack but fell short with little to no brow tines

    2) i have extreamly high hopes to put a arrow in this guy.

I will continue to update this thread with trail cam pics and hopefully a harvest picture.

Here he is a week ago.

So what's the going in plan? You've got months...

Any other cams out to isolate where he's hanging out the rest of the week?

Already know his bedding/food areas with a planned ambush?

    Wait em out?

And you probably said before, but is this private or public land?

Its private land... hes coming into the back part of my property. All the deer in the area seem to be coming in to my pond and eat the clover that surrounds it.

Theres a thicket about 150 yds behind my pond on the side of ridge that they bed in.. behind my property is a creek bottom with 2 big ridges on both sides.

The main food source is acorns come fall. Its illegal to bait in my county so that wont be a option.

My plan come bow season is to hopefully catch him coming into my property like he has been to eat the clover. Which should give me about a 2-3 week period before acorns begin to drop in my area.
