I currently have a cheap bow. I mean Walmart 100 dollar cheap. I am looking to get a better quality one and am wondering your thoughts. I do have a budget of like 3 to 350 so I know it's not going to be the best but it's gotta be better than what I have. Currently shooting the vortex by Barnett and am not liking the extreme fatigue I get after shooting just a dozen shots. Any help would b appreciated. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The extreme fatigue sounds like it might be a draw weight issue not a inexpensive bow issue. If you are still looking to upgrade in that $300-$350 price range, I would consider something used. It'll be a better quality bow than you buy brand new for that price. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yup, look at used diamond infinite edge or Mathews mission series. Both are very good bows, newer, and you can pick them up as one heck of a deal.
Should be able to find some Elite GT500's out there for that price range.Definitely also check out your draw weight too like smctitan suggested or expand your work out routine with high reps. Good luck and let us know what you end up with.
Now I know that I need to get used to shooting but a work out routine? What exactly do you mean here?
Thank you all for the advice and I will check the draw weight and see if I can get it adjusted accordingly Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Diamond ,mission and Hoyt have nice bows that are very adjusted able my son had a hard choice between Hoyt and mission and chose the mission cause of his size Hoyt for a taller lad good luck on choosing an upgrade
I got a PSE Vision two years ago brand new and set it up for $300, before I put the doinker dish on it. That was an additional $75 but I got it used. I used it for my target bow and it shot great. If you look on e-bay you can find the bows that replace the Vision (I think it is the Stinger or the Surge) for about the same price. I really like the PSE bows, but the Infinite Edge is also a pretty affordable entry level bow. My son had the Edge, until I upgraded him to the Vision. The Vision had a longer axle to axle length, and that helped his accuracy some too.
