Hey everybody. I'm new to the forum so forgive me if this is in the wrong section. I just got a new bow and I need a good 5 pin setup and was wondering what everyone uses and there own opinion. I was looking at a few from tru glo and the iq 5 pins. I just don't know which one to get. Any help is much appreciated.

I have shot most of them. In regards to a 5 pin I personally would go with Spot-Hogg or Montana Black gold sights. Both are quality built and will last a long time.

I have an IQ 7 pin and I can shoot some solid groups with it. The only downside is the retina display seems to make me have to focus on another thing in my sight picture. My dad has a 5 pin Trophy Ridge and loves it.

I have a bunch of 5 pin sights and my favorite would be between the Axcel or AXT sights.

GWS makes a couple good 5 pin sights. High quality and good price.

I especially like the looks of their Green Monster. 5 green pins that decrease in size as you move down.

I use the sure loc lethal weapon red or qc slider sights love both of them sight In 10 to 50 and use the correct tape and the slider is dead on I can shoot out to 150 on my tape but would never attempt that lol I also use both those sights in 4 pin as well I have a 4 pin qc slider on my halon 6 and a lethal weapon red on my no cam.

Definitely get out there and put your eyes on a bunch.

I don't see the yellow pins well so my sights are set up Green-Red-Green-Red-Green. I like sights with pins that are all .019 while I know that some like to have their first and second pins be .019 and then their next three they have them be .010. And why, I can't explain but I see the pins on some sights better than others???????? Same size, brand and color even but there is a difference to my eyes some times.

What a fun adventure you are embarking on!!!!!!

I have the Trophy Ridge React 5 pin and love it. Sighting was very easy which was the selling point for me.

I've got a Hogg It 7 pin for sale, like new. I took two pins off to make it a 5 pin to unclutter the sight window. Very sweet sight, and it is priced right at $125.... Whatever you get, make sure it has a level...

Just add or remove a pin...the options are pretty much unlimited.

I've got tru-glo sights on two bows and they are solid and work fine. My latest hunting bow has a more expensive sight but nothing wrong with tru-glow. buy and enjoy....
