I'm hoping just hoping that I may have stumbled upon a good future hunting spot today. So I deliver containers to various places all over the surrounding counties and today as I was helping a customer a conversation spurd up about wildlife the land fishing turkey deer etc. So I had to ask and he said no I really don't want anyone shooting guns on my land so i say no prob because i only bowhunt and he replies oh ok good and then says I don't mind you coming out to fish there is two ponds one for cattle and the other is full of bass about this big showing me. Long story he gave me permission to fish there and to come out Fri after work so he can show me around. I'm just hoping one day it can turn into not only a place to fish don't get me wrong I love to fish but also a future hunting spot. It's about 10 min drive from work and would be a good evening place to hunt. It's hard.to gain the trust of landowners because people these days are so disrespectful and inconsiderate but hopefully the landowner eventually will see that I'm just the opposite. I don't get invited to small acreage like that very often especially not ones that hold wildlife so my fingers are crossed. Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
Awesome Jeff. I'm sure it won't take him long to see you're a stand up guy and will let you hunt there.
Awesome man! I think once he realizes that he can trust you, the hunting part will not be a problem. Also, if he ever needs anything done there (trees removed, limbs carried off or whatever) volunteer to help. That will go over really well!!
A nice bass pond is always fun. But, a close bow spot is even better. I am sure that you can get a hunting spot there in the future. Does he hunt or fish?
Good luck Jeff. There are still some great people out there, hard to find, but their still there!! Hope you get it brother!
