I was cleaning the dust off my bow, and I noticed it! This is the second time on a second brand of bow that I have had my limb delaminate. Oh man it made me sick to my stomach. I'm still sick to my stomach. Just the thought of not being able to shoot my boss for a couple weeks makes me very sad. I have very bad luck with limbs I guess. I'm going to start shooting a heavier arrow. Maybe that will help. Blahhhh

Being in Cali., do you ever leave your bow in the truck/car or in a shed that "might" get a little bit warm?

That sucks man! Is it still under warranty? I'm a Bowtech fan too and have decided on a BT-X 28 after turkey season. Sending a prayer it's not too difficult and costly to fix!

Absolutely not! This bow is a dream bow that i never thought i could afford. I take better care of it than anything else I own. This is so darn frustrating.

Good call. I've had crap in my vehicle melt I didn't think could outside an oven. Although your profile pic doesn't make you look like a small guy. Maybe take the guns down a caliber from 50 cal to 45?

I don't see it, but it may just be the picture. Are you sure it is delaminating, or could it be a dent or something from getting use?

This is the second time IV had this happen. It happened on another bow I had, but I didn't see it. It delaminated completely when I drew it back.

Limbs from any company can peel. I have seen it on al of them when I worked in an archery shop.
The only time I have seen a company not cover the limbs is when it was just the edges where a few fibers peeled off.
Most bows have great warranties these days and cover the repairs and parts.
I do know that shooting a heavier arrow while help absorb more of the energy that is being used which might help save the stress on the limbs

Call bowtech's customer service direct if you don't have any luck with your shop. After this exact same thing happening with 3 different sets of limbs on my Bowtech captain I finally called Bowtech myself. The customer service rep was excellent to deal with and made sure I got a brand new bow. He said he knew that bowtech's customer service reputation was terrible and they are trying to turn that around.

What arrows are you shooting, specifically?
