I've put in about 40 hours of scouting this off-season so far. Found a few spots here and there that got my blood boiling a bit, but nothing awesome. Well today it finally paid off....nasty remote thicket which cannot be scene on a map nor from the road. Hammered with buck sign as it has to be a doe bedding area. Nicknamed it the Storke thicket after a grave I found near it. William Storke 1874-1892. Honoring the guy as he is buried all by himself out in the woods. I'm pumped. Sometimes you just find a spot and you know it is going to produce action.
virginiashadow's If you tag one in there maybe he'll come back to life and help you drag him out! LOL Rocky
I would like to be buried in a remote thicket surrounded by deer and such and imagine people complaining to put the work in to visit me hahaha.
