This might make for an interesting topic.. Out of curiosity.. What kind of job does everyone on here have? I'm an apprentice floorlayer in the carpenters Union.
I was a general contractor/carpenter for 10 years out of highschool. Did mostly residential work and got my hands on almost every aspect of carpentry which will be something I'll hold on to for the rest of my life. About a year ago I decided to get out the of the family business and now work at Kawneer Alcoa. It's a factory that makes industrial window and door store fronts out of aluminum. It's a steady job that pays well for the area and has benefits and I'm happy here for now. The hours I work kind of sucks 6pm to 6 am but its a continuous Ops Schedule so I get alot of days off which will prove nice when the hunting seasons start to roll around.
Chief Process Operator/Shift Supervisor at a chemical plant and hoping to soon be the salary Supervisor for my area just interviewed last week.
I own my own construction business. I chose this road so it would allow me more time in the woods without asking the boss man for time off.
Respiratory therapist at a local hospital. I also serve as the hospital chaplain. Blessings.......Pastorjim
I oversee the marketing and customer service for a large electric utility. Also local EMT for the town I live in.
Superintendent of a Wastewater Treatment facility. And an owner/operator with my family on a commercial Shooting preserve. Shorewinds Hunting Farm and Kennel.
Framer.. Just landed a interview at the local power plant so hopefully the job title changes soon.. Fingers crossed
