My wife has decided to get into archery, mostly for target shooting and 3D. We are getting her a Quest Radical (online), but need to get some inexpensive arrows with field points. We checked Amazon for a cheap set, but were hesitant based on reviews. Any suggestions? (links?) Thanks!
Go to your local pro shop. Most have a "less expensive" line. Or you could go to the Walmart or Di-ck's Sporting Goods or whatever is close by. Do you know her draw length? What poundage she can draw?
Basspro inexpensive carbon arrows have worked great for me since 2007. The current version is called Blackout and run about 50 bucks a dozen. if you give them the bow poundage and draw length they'll get you set up with the right spine and cut them to length. If you are just getting into archery it will be helpful to have an archery shop you can go to with questions. the archery section of the basspro I use has knowledgeable folks but I also use a local archery shop. hope you enjoy the sport.
