Alright I know many of you are disappointed with the cancellation of the annual Bowhunting.com Get Together. Well I like many have already taken time off work and planned on attending this year. The campground has already been reserved so I am still planning on relaxing for a few days, flinging some arrows, catching some fish and drinking some beers by the fire! The Get Together will be the same as it has been for the last 9 years! We will camp the first week/weekend in June at Paradise Park Campground in Garden Prairie, IL. So who would still like to attend? If we have a good turnout I will keep things the same otherwise I don't want to take up all the space at the campground for just 2 or 3 attendees. Reply below if you would still like to plan on attending!
I wasn't going to be able to make it to the G2G this year since Im in a wedding but it would have been fun to still camp and hang out. It was the best part of the weekend for sure.
May or may not stay overnight, depends on how many beers I drink. But I'll probably swing by and hang with whoever is there!
As of now, I would plan on making a day trip of it on Sat. I could be down 10-11 am and stay around probably until 7ish. Would be willing to meet anybody else wanting to head down for a day from WI for a carpool also.
well I'm sure I'll be there, got to attend the meetings anyway and I'm not staying in hotel he!! Again
They are still closed for the off season so I don't have definite numbers yet and won't till probably late March but think it was around $15 - 17 a night I will post all the info about it and details for everyone about when to call them in early April
