Well I've been lurking around for a little while and decided to sign up. For my first question I was wondering if yall can tell me what to expect of my Halon 6 at 70#, 28" draw, 85% letoff. With monkey tails, loop and peep. I'm by no means a speed freak, I currently shoot same specs out of my No Cam HTR and love it, won't be getting rid of it. But I'm hoping to gain some speed just cause I strictly shoot a HHA single pin slider and I'm thinking a little extra speed might help me out when compensating. I shoot two different setups for arrows. One is 376gr and the one is right at 400. Appreciate any thoughts!

    Welcome to the site!
You should see an increase in speed based on the Halon being a faster IBO bow. It will probably be around 10 fps faster then your HTR. Some of the more technical will break it down further for you.
Congrats on the Halon 6. I am waiting for mines to show up in a few weeks.

I read on Mathews website that with two monkey tails you should only lose 2-3 fps. I'm not sure if that's true or not though.

My 28.5" draw at 70 lbs it shooting a 386 grain arrow at around 312 fps so the numbers posted from the app seem pretty on.

Thanks! I'm by no means a speed freak but I shoot a single pin and trying to get to where I don't have to compensate so much and also get some more KE

    I also think you're pretty close. I'm shooting a Chill R at 70lb, 85% rock mods with a 29 DL with a 426 gr. arrow I am getting 295 fps.
