Sparrow. Lol. Now before anyone gives me crap, they're an invasive species, it's legal, and I actually do eat their breasts. I was 20 yards away and saw a few in my dove feeding box. They're so skittish that I didn't even think I'd be able to draw my bow back, but I slowly did and took aim. BOOM. HEADSHOT. The varmint tip knocked it out so hard it was dead instantly. I have a picture if anyone's interesed, lol.
I like to soak mine in olive oil overnight then BBQ them seasoned with salt, pepper, and garlic. This is how I cook dove. Sometimes I'll put some soy sauce and it gives it an asian type flavor.
That's awesome. I have never heard of someone eating sparrow. Enjoy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thanks, someone appreciates how hard that was! That sparrow looked like a humming bird from 20 yards haha
I'm almost positive you can take them any way, because sparrows and starlings are an invasive species. I don't know if I "baited" that one, but I have seed all over my back yard. This one just happened to be in a box.
