    Hey Guys,

The buck I was after this year managed to elude me and make it through all our Wisconsin seasons. This buck I nicknamed Bday (since I saw him on my camera the first time on 10/10, my bday and he's a perfect 10). I had him at range on November 1st of 20 yards without a shot, I passed on him. He needed to turn but never did and I wouldn't take a shot in the neck or chest. That was a real heartbreaker. Still makes me sick. Well he disappeared and my last pull on my trail showed up. I'll be thinking about him for quite awhile and will have fun getting after him next season. :tu:

Here he is up close earlier in the season.

Here he is at my last pull.

You shoot the one in front and I'll come over and shoot the one in back, to "help" you out!

    Some nice dreams there!

I hope he puts some mass on next year and maybe some character. I love how perfect he is but would like to see a sticker or something. :tu:

You sure that's the same buck? #1 I'm maybe passing on; but #2 is definitely getting smoked. Could be just the angle I guess. Either way #2 is a dandy, and good luck to you.

I am positive it is the same buck. We don't have too many bucks in our area (maybe 5-6) so it's really easy to keep track. The younger deer in front I have gotten lots of photos of and Bday seems to hang around him quite a bit. Here are some other photos to help you tell. The big tell is the brow tines. His left side is slightly longer than his right.

Nice buck and he should be better next year as he doesn't look very old IMO. Good luck getting him next season.

    Great buck!

First pic makes him look smaller. I was thinking it wasn't the same buck either until you posted the other pics. That little turn at the top of his one brow tine is hiding in the first pic. so it looked like a different buck to me but I see why it hides in the other pics.

Love symmetrical bucks. My first big buck was a 153" 10 that has around 2" of deductions I haven't seen to many more symmetrical than him. But then again I like those bucks with junk everywhere...haha I like them all.

I hope you are right, but with being in the big woods of Northern Wisconsin we're really realistic. The bucks don't grow to be like Buffalo County deer so I'm happy with a 120-130 deer. :tu:
