Varmints are great to sharpen your skills and squirrels and rabbits taste like chicken.

Very true but as far as I can tell where I hunt in MI and IN coyotes have decimated the populations of both. 25 years ago varmints were everywhere and coyotes a rarity; now it's polar opposite.

Our coyotes and foxes cycle and the rabbit, mice and deer populations follow.

I've never yet bowhunted these guys, but they are great to sharpen your skills! Though I'm not sure about the "Tastes like chicken" part. They taste WAY better than chicken IMO, fried especially

Where I am in MI the rabbit trails are as heavy as the deer trails lol, hoping to go out this weekend to hone my skills.

Interesting. I'll have give this a shot. I'm curious about the taste. What kind of points have you guys used? My guess is that larger broadheads would destroy the smaller targets?

I use rubber blunts and old Muzzy's that have been dulled. A rubber blunt will dang near decapitate a rabbit. It's nice to get a down hill shot when you can so your arrows don't go sliding under the snow for 20 yards. I used a snow shovel and a rake to locate arrows under the snow.

Bryan I love the Razortec and hunted with it all year this year. I also shoot a Mathews Z7 Extreme. Took them both to Wyoming at Thanksgiving and shot a doe with each one. :D

Pretty good shot from 80 yards. I'd need a 20' square block of styrofoam behind my target at that distance. :D

Be sure and use a bigger mechanical and you'll be good to go!

    Good shooting!
