I thought it would be fun to start a thread over this next season would be fun My goals- Most of all, have another safe year in the stand Kill a turkey with my bow Kill a 168+" buck (my best,we've got some) All good shots Go out west and kill a muley with my bow
I'm going to try 100% traditional this fall. Just hoping for any mature buck and some does. I'm also planning to head out west to try and get my wife an elk. Should be a fun fall.
Well I'm Getting married in September...then heading to Illinois first week of November, should be a good ice breaker to see how much I can get away with. Along with hunting my farm in Pa and trying to tag a bigger public land Ohio buck than this past year, +130. And just have fun in the woods regardless of the outcome.
This past year was my first year bowhunting. I did not get enough time in the woods. I hope to change that and get my first archery kill. I don't care if it's a monster buck or a turkey. Both would be nice but i'll take anything.
1. Get my soon to be 7 year old son into the woods this fall with me. 2. Kill a 125"+ in PA 3. Kill a 150"+ in Mo (my biggest whitetail to date is exactly 150 and change) 4. Don't fall out of any trees
Secure another piece of private land to hunt being things just didn't work out with the land I got permission for this last season. I love hunting public land but I want to be able to leave a stand some where and not have to worry as much about it disappearing.
1# Upgrade my sights to an HHA 2#kill a buck from the ground on public land. 3#Help my little brother kill his first deer. 4#shoot a turkey with my bow. 5# This is not bow hunting but I hope to kill a elk on our Colorado trip this fall. 6# go on at least one hunting trip back to AR.
