I've been lying low here for quite a few weeks as my wife and I just welcomed our first child into the world the day after Thanksgiving. As we begin to adjust to our lives as parents, semblances of normality reappear from time to time. Take today for instance, I decided to take him along with me for his first trail camera check.

I figured you can never start them too young, right :) At just a little over three weeks old, he had a blast (by sleeping through it all).

AWESOME start! Keep up the good work.

    A hunting partner for life.

Doesn't get any better than that.

You need a Snuggle. It is a front pack that holds the little one against your chest. That way you can be hands free, and it really makes the little one feel secure.

We have a baby carrier, but this was a quick check around the cameras that can be accessed a short walk from the car.

Thanks, everyone. It really is the best thing to happen to me (along with marrying my wife).I heard it from others before, but never truly grasped how true it was until I had my own.
