Nephew Made The Big Time!

    Nephew made the local paper yesterday with his first deer. Very proud of him. He is shaping up to be quite the outdoorsman.

    Back in August when we were working food plots he tagged along. It was smoking hot that day and he said, "Papa shouldn't make us work so hard." But, Papa and me had put together a plan for him... Before I took this pic I asked him if he remembered saying that. He laughed and said, "Yes." I winked and said, "Now you see what hardwork does." Who knows...maybe that life lesson will stick with him for the rest of his days. I hope it does.

    His name is "Jaxon"....but I hate that his momma decided to go all new school and misspell a name that carries a lot of history with it in my state. So, me and Papa call him "Poot". Haha.
