Pick mine up Friday! Wife says it has to stay put up until Christmas. We'll see who wins this argument!

I want to shoot one. The grip is really what I want to feel. I'm an odd ball because I like light bows, not because of packing them but because they just feel better shooting for me. I know the physics behind mass/inertia and all that...for some reason a lighter bow just feel more natural to me.

That review was a joke! You give us chronograph speeds, but no draw cycle review??...jk...thanks for the review Justin...looks like a sweet bow. If you or one of your staff get a Halon 7 I'd love to see some speeds from that. Anyway you could video some side views and do a video review of that draw cycle?

Great review, love pretty much everything you mentioned on the halon except the new lost camo.

Todd has a Halon 7 on order but it will probably be a few weeks before we see it. From my understanding they haven't built many, or any for that matter.

I could do a video of drawing the bow from the side but I'm not sure what the point would be. It's so hard to "see" a draw cycle. IMO its really something you need to feel and judge for yourself.

I agree. I am not a fan of any of the finishes really. I still want to shoot one and if I like it enough to buy one I wouldn't pass it up because of the colors though :) .

If I were to get a new one I'd go with the Stone finish. :tu:

Pretty happy with my Black Tactical version. I had a z7x and Chill in this finish before and I've loved them all.

I'm not sure what draw you guys were shooting but at 30" I had an issue with the bow wanting to shimmy when it rolled into full draw. This is something that tends to happen with sub 32"ATA with me at 30" draw. Other than that I really liked it. You think the 7 would be any better about that?

As one of "the haters" of the waffle design, I think this new bow looks great and I too like the look of black. I hope to get to shoot one soon and am in the same boat of being anxious to feel the grip. I've never been able to settle in to a factory Mathews grip and have always had to use a custom grip to shoot one consistently.
